Bushey Beer Festival – July 16th – 18th

July 16th 2010 sees the start of the annual Great Bushey Beer Festival

Hosted by Bushey and Oxhey Round Table at their usual venue, the 3 Crowns Public House, Bushey.

With the usual selection of beers from the Tring Brewery, as well as a number of special guests, there should be enough variety for even the most discerning palette!

Chairman Jon Morby and his team look forward to welcoming you to the beer festival and sharing a beer or two with you over the weekend.

Proceeds go to Bushey’s Charity account. This year’s charities include the Round Table National Charity – the RNLI as well as the Peace Hospice

Santa’s out and about in Bushey

Bushey & Oxhey Round Table have joined Santa as he travels round Bushey and South Oxhey raising money which will go towards making a happier Christmas for many local residents. We will be collecting every evening until 21st December and also at Bushey station during the morning rush hour on 22nd December – weather permitting. If you see Santa or one of his helpers please give generously. Every penny is used by Bushey & Oxhey Round Table to support charities and worthwhile causes.

This year, we are delighted that Bushey Heath Hyundai and Mercury FM have once again supported us in providing the ‘Power behind Santa’.

Bushey Carnival and Fair

Bushey & Oxhey Round Table hosted the annual carnival at Bushey Hall School on Saturday 1st July, which, thanks to the weather was once again a great success. As England were playing in the World Cup quarter finals, the numbers dwindled towards the end of the afternoon, but feedback from those who were there was that everyone had a great afternoon.

Many thanks from the organising committee to everyone who helped out and participated in the event. A number of pictures from the day can be seen below and in the new picture gallery here.
